Who we are
Batu is a Korean word for 'very close'. We named it for a neighbourhood bathhouse close to where you work and live.
We took over a spot in Jeokseon-dong that was a bathhouse for forty years.
GENESE did the branding and the space design. Music Metro did the sound.
The sauna zone has a Sauna, an Infrared Room and a Steam Room.
There are three cold baths, each with a different temperature and depth.
There are places to sit and rest throughout. The lights are low and ambient music plays.
Once you are washed and dressed, you can stay in the Lounge. A DJ plays there on Thursday and Friday evenings.
We don't sell alcohol, and you can't bring it in.
Come alone or with others.
